Tennis player and entrepreneur from New Zealander, Rubin Statham, has purchased a house in the Sakeni project

Tennis player and entrepreneur from New Zealander, Rubin Statham, has purchased a house in the Sakeni project. He first visited Georgia in 2018 upon the invitation of a Georgian friend, and since then, he has become a resident.

"I developed an affection for Georgia right from my initial visit, captivated by its amiable populace and stunning landscapes. Over the past few years, I have been spending an increasing amount of time in between professional tennis tournaments in Batumi and Tbilisi, and curiously, I've started feeling a sense of belonging and home, akin to being in my homeland, which is quite unusual for a New Zealander. This sentiment prompted me to investing in a property here. The Sakeni project, with its prime location, versatile design, and superior construction quality, appealed to me on numerous fronts. The presence of a pool and a gym, promoting a healthy lifestyle, all on site, is a significant draw. I'm also fond of the open balconies adorned with plants and offering scenic views. Collectively, these factors establish an idyllic living environment. Hence, I made the decision to invest in this project, and I eagerly anticipate the completion of the house."

Statham achieved the distinction of becoming New Zealand's top-ranked tennis player in 2004, a remarkable feat considering he was only 16 years old at the time. With 33 appearances, he holds the record for the most appearances and most wins in New Zealand's Davis Cup team in history, a journey that began in 2005. He has been actively involved in professional playing and coaching since 2009. In that same year, he founded the company Pro Stringer, where he introduced the world's first portable, electronic stringing machine catering to tennis, squash, and badminton, which his invented became the world's highest-selling tennis machine.
