The Motifs Revived in SAKENI Visual Identity

The development company BIOGRAPI Living continues to write history and create environments full of life, places telling us about their own past.

BIOGRAPI's first project, the SAKENI multifunctional complex, is a connecting bridge between the past and the present. SAKENI is a 38-storey building located at N25, Vazha Pshavela Avenue. Featuring a strong individualism and history, it represents more than just housing. SAKENI is a new story in the process of building a modern city.

What is the story of SAKENI?

BIOGRAPI Living revives the stories. The name of SAKENI and its location are not a coincidence or mere chance.

We will remind you that Hotel Abkhazeti, a symbol of exceptionally warm relations between Tbilisi and Sukhumi, was located at #25 Vazha Pshavela Avenue. An exact copy of Hotel Abkhazeti, named Hotel Tbilisi, adorned the central avenue of Sukhumi.

SAKENI symbolically revives the sound of Sakeni River, which flows in Abkhazia. The specificity of the residential complex is swift and dynamic, like a river. The name highlights that this is a place where there is life.

On the other hand, the SAKENI project combines several types of apartments, the names of which are also inspired by the rivers and landmarks of Abkhazia, including Mokvi, Myussera, Bzipi, Ritsa, and others.

BIOGRAPI offers a unique and multi-functional building that offers you completely new and diverse experiences.

Graphic symbols used in branding

BIOGRAPI brings the visuals of a project to life in a whole new context, preserving values. Every element or color used in branding is loaded with meaning and significance.

The font of the SAKENI logo carries symbolic meaning and tells a story. The deep and overarching concept combines colors, shapes, and patterns that express Georgia's identity in its visuals. All these pieces arouse an emotional mood in the viewer.

Waves: The SAKENI logo depicts blue waves symbolizing the Black Sea and the Sakeni River.

Griffin: The griffin on the SAKENI logo brings to mind the famous fountain statue in front of the Sokhumi Drama Theater.

Hands: When you look at the logo you will definitely notice the hands, symbolizing friendship, respect, and a kind of icon of preserving values.

Colors: The blue color used in the logo represents the sea and the river. As for the river, it symbolizes life, freedom, and the time stream. Emerald color entering the visual communication expresses the emerald lakes of the Caucasus in Abkhazia.

A new chapter in the history of building a modern city

History exists as long as our memory preserves it. We believe that tomorrow new relationships and new biographies will be emerging within the walls of SAKENI. Together we will create a space in which future generations will continue to create their own historical chronicles.
