Unique historical significance
Biograpi Living has once again brought the stories of the place to life with the second outstanding project, Matiani. The name of the project is inspired by the history of the place. Matiani - the same as a chronicler, a space, a place, a person who records the passage of time - stories.

The place was originally known as "Horse's Foot" in the early Middle Ages (5th century). The area called Didube appeared in the 11th-12th centuries and means a large area, a plain place.
During the era of King Tamar, Didube received a special significance. It was the king's summer residence, where she grew up and prepared for the throne of Georgia. The Church of the Virgin Mary in Didube was the place where Tamar, the king of kings, married David Soslan and sacrificed the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary.
The first official horse race in Didube was held in 1848, and the original racecourse still stands as a testament to the area's rich history. Didube was heavily influenced by European architecture and culture in the 19th century and was home to a German settlement known as Alexanderdorf.
The Matiani project is a modern multifunctional complex that continues the rich history of the area, while also laying the foundation for a new ecosystem in the oldest district of the capital.
The brand identity of Project Matiani is inspired by the era of King Tamar, known as the Golden Era, and the early Renaissance masterpiece - The Knight in the Panther's Skin.
The project's logotype incorporates symbols:
The Georgian horse symbol from Mtkvar-Araks culture is preserved in the National Museum.
The arch is a symbol of European architecture and is related to Georgian-German relations.
The crowned tiger symbolizes the poem The Knight in the Panther's Skin and generally the era of King Tamar.
In the Matiani project, residential apartments are named after unique words from The poem Knight in the Panther's Skin.
